Since 2011, Armenia has welcomed approximately 18,000 Syrian-Armenian refugees. Some of these families have been able to open their own businesses and establish homes here, while others are still struggling to find employment and are facing the daunting task of trying to support a family with little to no income.

In the winter of 2016, ONEArmenia partnered with Aleppo Compatriotic Charitable Organization (Aleppo CCO) in order to determine what Syrian-Armenian children who recently moved to Armenia really needed for Christmas.

We created a package of gifts, all of which were locally produced, which addressed their needs and brought happiness to children who were forced out of their homes and are trying to adapt to a new environment.

Over 300 children received made-in-Armenia gifts and seven different local businesses were supported as a result.
